Medical Interpretation

The Medical Interpretation Service is for francophones who have trouble communicating in English and who have to use English-language health care services in Toronto.

The services include:

• Interpretation of communications between the client and health care professionals at hospitals, clinics, doctors’ offices or on the telephone.
• Support and guidance regarding health care services in the City of Toronto.
• Help with finding temporary accommodation in Toronto, for reasons of health, for people who do not live in the city.
• Visits to hospitalized clients by Centre francophone staff or volunteers.
