Taxes

Every year you have to file an income tax return. The Centre francophone can help you with this!

Please note that our clients who file an income tax return frequently get a refund from the government.

We are offering free income tax clinics in French:

  • For single people whose annual income is $25,000 or less
  • For families whose annual income is $30,000 or less, plus $2,000 per child
  • For social assistance recipients
  • For low-income seniors

Please note that you have to file an income tax return to receive:

  • A PST credit
  • Canada Child Tax Benefts
  • A tax refund (if applicable)
  • Child Care Tax benefit

Clinics are given in March and April at 22 College St. on appointment only.
