Employment Services
Employment Assistance Service
The Employment Services can be used by any francophone in Toronto and the GTA who is legally entitled to work in Canada but is unemployed or working fewer than 20 hours a week and wanting to increase the hours of work. Our services can also be used by employment insurance recipients and those receiving maternity/parental benefits.
The objective of this program is to provide individual counselling and support services for finding employment. Employment insurance recipients also have access to subsidized training through EMPLOYMENT ONTARIO.
Our services include: job search techniques and labour market orientation; guiding people toward potential employers and specialized resources; development of return to action plan for re-entry into the work force. We also provide information on diploma and degree recognition and on the access to regulated trades and occupations.
The Employment Services can also be used by newcomers. Click on this link to find out more and learn about other newcomer services.
