Personal Space Program

This is a prevention program delivered in the schools to children in Grades 3 to 6.

The program objectives are to help children:

  • recognize abusive situations
  • develop techniques for controlling their emotions
  • develop positive strategies for managing difficult situations
  • develop the necessary knowledge and skills to seek assistance
  • broaden their support network

The program includes a workshop for school staff followed (the same week) by workshops for the children with qualified workshop leaders.
