Exhibitions at Galerie Céline Allard

Since opening in May 1992, the Galerie Céline-Allard has built a solid reputation for itself as a visual arts gallery by hosting many exhibitions featuring a succession of sculptors, painters, photographers and multi-media artists. Since the 1997-1998 season, the Centre francophone has been mounting exhibitions in collaboration with BRAVO-sud (an art lab initiative bringing together Ontario media and visual artists).

The goal of Galerie Céline-Allard is to de-mystify the arts by introducing contemporary works of art to the general public. The artists who exhibit at the gallery are francophone professionals who, for the most part, live and work in Toronto.

Galerie Céline-Allard is also a recommender for the Exhibition Assistance Program run by the Ontario Arts Council. Awards to the artists range from $500 to $1,500. The next deadline for this program is January 31, 2009. For more information, consult the Ontario Arts Council web site at www.arts.on.ca.
