Francophone Week

Every year for one week in March, Toronto vibrates to the sound of the francophone community. Dozens of activities organized by different Toronto francophone agencies make it possible for both young and adults to come together in a celebration of our common language. The Centre coordinates this event: it determines the calendar of activities and organizes an impressive show to highlight international francophone day, Journée internationale de la francophonie. In recent years Torontonians have had the opportunity to see and hear Michel Mpambara, Corpus Dance Projects, Yvon Deschamps, Madagascar Slim, Fred Pellerin, Laurence Jalbert, Andrée Bernard and Richard Séguin.
