Health Services for Children and Families

The Centre francophone offers newcomers a number of health-related services for children and families.

For health care services, our Medical Interpretation Service helps people who are unable to speak English. Click on this link to find out more.

The Centre francophone also provides a 24-hour medical hotline for people experiencing health problems outside of our office hours. Dial (22 College Street) 416-922-2672 or (5 Fairview Mall) 416-492-2672 or call toll-free 1-800-268-1697.

With regard to health care, the Centre francophone offers a wide range of clinical services such as medical and nursing care, nutrition counselling, HIV/AIDS screening, mental health care, diabetes, etc. To learn more about the program that best meets your needs, click on the Health link.

Children and families are important at the Centre francophone. This is why we deliver a vast range of services such as the Coin de la petite enfance (Kiddy Corner) with its program for African mothers; nutrition programs for children and pregnant mothers; information on early childhood development (for children from 0 to 5 years); a free children's clothing counter; clinical treatment and follow-up care for vaccinations; as well as babysitting services while you are on business at the Centre at 22 College Street, Wednesdays afternoon.
