Privacy Policy
The Centre francophone de Toronto (CFT) has developed a database of information while maintaining the confidentiality and anonymity of the members. Respect of privacy is a fundamental value at CFT.
The following paragraphs set out our policy on confidentiality.

Right of access to personal information
If you choose to receive our Newsletter and/or Calendar of Events by email or mail, your name and personal contact information will be saved for processing. This information is kept on a separate secure back-up server. The CFT shall at no time share, sell or rent out personal information or contact information to third parties (except at your express request or if you have explicitly agreed to be contacted by a CFT partner).
The CFT site shall notify you of any change that could affect the protection of your on-line personal information.
You have the right to access, rectify, change or remove information that concerns you.

Confidentiality and site traffic measurement
Like most sites, the CFT monitors its website traffic in order to improve site content and ensure ease of navigation.
The CFT does not collect any personal information on visitors to the CFT site.
The CFT collects only anonymous data that cannot be linked to personal information.
Data collected in this manner is compiled into statistics without creating individual profiles.

This site takes every precaution to protect user information. Once the information has been collected, it is saved off-line.

We send our Newsletters and/ Calendars of Events free of charge to subscribers. Anyone on the subscriber list, however, can easily have his or her name removed:
Simply click on the link located at the end of the Newsletter and/or Calendar of Events received and follow the instructions.
