Volunteers
Are you interested in helping and meeting francophones? Do you want experience in a Franco-Torontonian agency? Do you have some free time? The three locations of the Centre francophone de Toronto will be delighted and grateful to receive your help and support.
Our volunteers perform a large variety of tasks:
- Administrative support
- Helping at the clothing counters
- Interpretation and accompaniment of clients on non-medical appointments
- Participation in the pairing activities of the Host program
- Participating in a working group (advisory committee for the Pas à Pas/Step-by-Step program, new mothers’ pairing program, or the HIV/AIDS program, etc.)
- Sitting on the Board of Directors
- Collaborating on promotional projects
- Helping with cultural programs
- Translation
- Organizing and facilitating activities for children
- Working on special projects( in the areas of nutrition, health promotion bulletin board, tax clinic, etc.)
- Assistance and kiosques for special short-term events (such qs black history month, the nnual radiothon, the Salon du livre francophone, etc.)
